Los revisores de los manuscritos sometidos a Medicina Cutánea Ibero-Latino-Americana se comprometen a observar y a actuar siguiendo los principios de responsabilidad, integridad, confidencialidad, imparcialidad, y objetividad, y desempeñarán su labor de revisor con absoluta transparencia.

En todo caso se deberá declarar posibles conflictos de interés.

Los revisores evaluarán los siguientes aspectos en los manuscritos recibidos:

•    Originalidad y calidad académica 

•    Actualidad y relevancia

•    Aportación científica

•    Adherencia a principios éticos

•    Calidad metodológica

•    Transparencia

Cualquier sospecha acerca de la existencia de los siguientes criterios deberá ser comunicada al/la Editor(a) Jefe:

•    Plagio

•    Falta de apego los estándares éticos internacionales en el desarrollo de la investigación

•    Fraccionamiento de datos o salami slicing

•    Falsificación, apropiación, o reproducción no autorizada por parte del autor intelectual de datos, figuras, imágenes, algoritmos, o tablas

•    Publicación duplicada o redundante

•    Manipulación de citas bibliográficas, incluida la auto-citación injustificada

•    Omisión de información relevante que tenga un impacto directo sobre el contenido del manuscrito

•    Alteración injustificada del listado de autores

The reviewers of manuscripts sent to Medicina Cutánea Ibero-Latino-Americana undertake to observe and act following the principles of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality, and objectivity, and they will carry out their work as reviewers with absolute transparency.

In any case, potential conflicts of interest must be declared.

The reviewers will evaluate the following aspects in the received manuscripts:

• Originality and academic quality

• Timeliness and relevance

• Scientific contribution

• Adherence to ethical principles

• Methodological quality

•  Transparency

The following actions will be considered bad practices and may lead to the retraction of the manuscript:

• Plagiarism

• Lack of adherence to international ethical standards in the development of research.

• Data fractioning or salami slicing

• Falsification, appropriation, or unauthorized reproduction of data, figures, images, algorithms, or tables.

• Duplicate or redundant publication

• Manipulation of bibliographic citations, including unwarranted self-citation

• Omission of relevant information that has a direct impact on the content of the manuscript.

• Unjustified alteration of the authors’ list
